107 campers assembled at the flagpole, circulated around the dining hall to visit with the campers, circulated with campers throughout the 1st day. 2nd day –joined up with 2 Pet Partner teams. Later joined up with camp peg, a rat, bunny and a tarantula.
few of the children began crying when they saw the military equipment. Any crying child was approached by a dog team, giving the child some distraction and the opportunity to hug and cuddle the dog.

8/7/12National Night OutThis was a National Night Out event in Erie, PA, part of the nationwide
child safety initiative. It involved an animal shelter, the PA State Police, Department of Transportation and other community groups. we had numerous children to interact with and many adults to inform about HOPE. This event resulted in an invitation from the State Troopers to participate in a large Service Recognition event on Saturday as they were impressed by our teams.
